Credit & Refund Policy

FalStudio uses Credits as the unit of generation consumption. Standard credit price: $0.10 (Pay as you go / list price). Larger Pay as you go packs include a volume discount. Subscribers purchase additional credits at their plan’s discounted rate.

Generation prices vary by model, duration, resolution, and references. The estimated charge is displayed before you confirm a generation. The same generation consumes the same number of credits on every plan; subscribers save because included or discounted credits cost less to acquire.

Standard Pay as you go packs:

• 1,000 credits: $93 USD (list $100, 7% off)
• 500 credits: $47 USD (list $50, 6% off)
• 250 credits: $24 USD (list $25, 4% off)
• 100 credits: $10 USD

Optional subscriptions (Creator, Pro, Studio) include monthly Credits while the subscription is active. Annual plans are billed yearly but still receive included Credits monthly, not a full year of Credits up front.

Unused subscription Credits may accumulate while the subscription remains active, up to three times the monthly allowance. Purchased Credits are tracked separately from subscription Credits.

If you cancel a subscription, unused subscription Credits remain available until the end of the current paid billing period, then lapse. Purchased Credits do not expire while your account remains open. Unused Credits are not paid out as cash except as described in the refunds section below.

When generating, FalStudio generally consumes Credits in this order: subscription Credits, then promotional Credits, then purchased Credits, so nearer-term entitlements are used first.

When you start a generation, FalStudio may reserve Credits. If the generation completes and upstream compute is billable, reserved Credits are consumed. Disliking creative output alone is not a basis for a refund once billable compute has been consumed.

If a generation fails and FalStudio determines that upstream compute was not billable, reserved Credits should automatically return to your balance.

Used Credits are not refundable. Once Credits have been consumed for a generation (including where upstream compute was billable), those Credits cannot be reversed, cashed out, or refunded as money, even if you dislike the creative result, or if a third-party (including fal.ai) CDN or storage URL for that output later becomes unavailable or is deleted.

Where FalStudio agrees to refund unused purchased Credits (or where a refund is required by law), a 5% service fee is deducted from the refund amount. Subscription fees already used to grant Credits that have been consumed are not refundable.

Failed generations are not treated as refunds of a purchase: if FalStudio determines upstream compute was not billable, reserved Credits return to your balance. Chargebacks may reverse affiliate commissions and trigger account review.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Manage subscription cancellation and payment methods through the Stripe Customer Portal where available. See also the Terms of Service and Pricing.

Catalogue and in-app prices are shown in USD exclusive of tax. Applicable VAT, sales tax, GST, or similar charges may be calculated and added at checkout where required by law and configured with Stripe. Until tax collection is enabled for a given jurisdiction, the amount charged is the displayed exclusive price (plus any processor fees shown at checkout). We may update tax handling as our obligations change.
